How we made it
I photographed and filmed across the retreat, from morning practice under the palapa to cacao and ceremony. Between sessions I documented the spaces themselves, because for a destination retreat the place is part of the story.

The why
A New Year retreat is about letting go of one year and stepping into the next. The images needed to hold both the ceremonies and the place itself: the palapa, the jungle, the ocean views, so people could imagine spending their own New Year there.
